Digital Brilliance Hour (DBH) is seeking passionate and dedicated STEM Teachers to join our team. As a STEM Teacher, you will have the rewarding responsibility of training and guiding middle and high school students in game development or music production. You will utilize a provided curriculum to deliver engaging lessons and foster the creativity and skills of our students. We are committed to serving the severely underrepresented student population, particularly black and brown children, and we encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct dynamic and interactive classes to teach game development or music production to middle and high school students.
• Utilize the provided curriculum to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons, ensuring students grasp key concepts and acquire practical skills.
• Provide individualized guidance and support to students, fostering their personal growth and development.
• Cultivate an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes collaboration.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience at DBH.

Requirements:

• Passion for STEM education and a genuine desire to empower underrepresented students, particularly black and brown children, in the field.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in game development or music production.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate students.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and needs.
• Candidates without a degree but with relevant experience in STEM fields are encouraged to apply.
• Experienced professionals or individuals with degrees in relevant fields are also welcome to apply.

Pay: The hourly pay for the STEM Teacher position at DBH will range between $15 and $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
